The 4th National Science, Technology and Innovation Day will showcase the Royal Government of Cambodia’s push to advance innovation as a key engine of economic growth and good governance.
Scheduled for March 26–28, 2026 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre under the theme “Innovation for National Advancement”, the event will feature an expo that includes a centralised Government Pavilion which will present ongoing reforms and digital solutions under the government’s Go-Digital initiative.
The three-day event will highlight national priorities under the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Roadmap 2030, including digital health, carbon neutrality and quality education, while strengthening links between researchers, innovators and industry.
Youth-focused activities such as the Sci-Cup will also take centre stage, with the goal of sparking interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and supporting Cambodia’s long-term ambition of becoming a high-income economy by 2050.
H.E. Dr. Hul Seingheng, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), said, “To build a culture of innovation, we must start with our youth, knowing that science, technology and innovation are key enablers of accelerated growth for Cambodia.”
He emphasised the role of STI in narrowing the digital divide, adding, “By investing in infrastructure and digital literacy, we empower industrial development through innovation, ensuring no one is left behind in accessing STI.”
H.E. Seingheng also underscored the importance of the National STI Day in fostering innovation ecosystems that support national prosperity and long-term security.
