The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training and its partners will stage the “National Career and Productivity Fair” this weekend, with participation from around 150 companies. The event will offer over 30,000 job opportunities for job seekers, especially migrant workers who have returned from Thailand.
Themed “Pathway to Productivity: Connecting Skills, Technology and Employment Opportunities”, the fair will take place on November 1–2, 2025, at the Koh Pich Exhibition Hall in Phnom Penh. It is supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Skills Development Fund and other partners.
Ministry spokesperson Sun Mesa explained that the event will give students, graduates and the general public — especially job seekers — the chance to apply for jobs on the spot and even attend on-site interviews. He emphasised that the event is expected to deliver many benefits to all participants.
He noted that the fair will include participation from about 150 ministries, institutions, companies, enterprises, and educational and training organisations, with over 180 booths showcasing numerous job opportunities, for a total of more than 30,000 positions.
Far Saly, president of the National Trade Union Confederation, called on young people — particularly Cambodian workers returning from Thailand — to attend the fair to find jobs that match their skills and abilities.
“On November 1–2, 2025, the labour ministry will hold a career fair for Cambodians nationwide. We invite everyone to come and participate to look for employment opportunities. This is another proud initiative by the government and the ministry, which aims to make job seeking more accessible and convenient,” he said.
According to the ministry of Labour, the main objectives of the event are to maintain balance in the labour market by facilitating connections between employers with hiring needs and job seekers, creating a large and accessible platform for interactions among job seekers, employers, training providers and other relevant partners. The fair will also feature productivity workshops aimed at raising awareness about enhancing workplace productivity, with knowledge and experience sharing from various experts.
