A woman who impersonated a lawyer and falsified public documents has been sentenced to 6 years in prison by the Phnom Penh Capital Court and fined 8 million riels. Authorities raided the Xinli Casino in Preah Sihanoukville province yesterday, detaining more than 800 suspected scammers. The provincial police commissariat explained that the building, in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville town, was part of the Kingdom’s on-going efforts to eliminate online crime operations in the Kingdom.
