Cambodia will host the 18th “Cambodia Trade Expo (CTExpo)” in the first week of next month. The highly-anticipated fair will feature around 250 booths showcasing high-quality Cambodian products and imported goods, with about 60 per cent of displays being locally made.
The expo will be organised by the Ministry of Commerce from 4–7 December 2025 at the PH Grand Hall Center, Borey Peng Huoth Boeng Snor, Phnom Penh, and is themed: “Trade Renaissance: Local Products Empowerment”.
The event aims to boost Cambodia’s trade activities, enhance the business and investment environment, and promote both exports and imports. It also seeks to strengthen connections between local and international exhibitors, visitors and participants. In addition to product and service showcases, the event will serve as a platform to reinforce Cambodia’s commercial ties with global markets and to present products from major international partners.
The year’s theme, “Trade Renaissance: Local Products Empowerment”, represents the resurgence and growth of Cambodia’s trade, marking a new era of economic development, global engagement and enriched market competitiveness. The term “Renaissance” reflects the current mandate’s energetic and dynamic approach towards trade and highlights Cambodia’s commitment towards achieving Cambodia’s vision 2030.
According to the commerce Ministry of Commerce, the expo, originally known as the Cambodian & Import-Export Goods Exhibition (CIEGE), began in 2006 and has been successfully held 17 times. The rebranding aims to simplify the expo’s name while reflecting excellence and aligning with modern, vibrant market trends that emphasise quality and simplicity.
The ministry added that with this modernised identity, the CTExpo will incorporate innovative concepts to make the large-scale event more vibrant, highlighting commerce and cultural identity in the modern era. Attractive designs and presentation styles will enhance the showcase experience for businesses and exhibitors.
“We are optimistic that this year’s show will be a memorable experience, not only for the visitors joining its many programmes, but also for the trade partnerships that will emerge as a result of the confirmed participations of traders from across the globe,” said the ministry.
Organised by the Department of Exhibition Affairs and supported by the General Department of Trade Promotion, the 2025 CTExpo will exhibit a wide range of products, including export goods, industrial products, handicrafts, agricultural products and services. It will also highlight opportunities for imported products that support and promote Cambodia’s trade development. The event also seeks to build strategic partnerships with international participants to further stimulate Cambodia’s economic growth and investment environment.
Alongside product exhibitions, this year’s CTExpo will also feature the “Spotlight on Cambodia’s Export Sector” forum, business-matching activities, an academic stage and mini-concerts and performances.
According to the ministry, Prime Minister Hun Manet will also attend. The four-day event is expected to welcome around 40,000 visitors.
