HEINEKEN Cambodia is pleased to announce the official appointment of Dat Pham as its new Managing Director, effective September 1, 2025. This marks a milestone moment for HEINEKEN Cambodia, which has proudly brewed and invested in the Kingdom for over 30 years. Dat is no stranger to Cambodia, having served as Finance Director of HEINEKEN Cambodia from 2019 to 2022. During that time, he played a pivotal role in guiding the company through the Covid-19 crisis, ensuring both growth and financial resilience.
He succeeds Andy Hewson and will report to Uday Sinha, HEINEKEN’s Regional Managing Director for Asia-Pacific (APAC). Over the past two years, Andy strengthened HEINEKEN Cambodia’s position as one of the country’s leading brewers, embedding sustainability and responsible business practices, and launching initiatives that promoted circularity, reduced environmental impact and enhanced workplace safety.
“I am honoured to take on the role of Managing Director at HEINEKEN Cambodia and to continue building on the outstanding legacy of Andy,” said Dat. “Cambodia is a dynamic market with great potential, and I am excited to work alongside our talented and passionate team to bring our business into its next phase. HEINEKEN has been operating in Cambodia for more than 30 years, and we remain a committed foreign investor and partner in the country’s economic growth.”
With over a decade of experience at the HEINEKEN Group across Europe and Asia — including his previous tenure in Cambodia — Dat brings both a global perspective and deep local insight to his new role. He represents the next generation of Asian talent being cultivated through HEINEKEN’s global leadership journey.
Prior to returning to Phnom Penh, Dat served as Managing Director of HEINEKEN Laos, where he led a successful commercial and organisational transformation. Under his leadership, HEINEKEN Laos became the fastest-growing operating company in Asia Pacific in 2024 and 2025, advanced to the fourth-largest Heineken brand market in the region, and doubled its market share while delivering record-breaking performance.
As Managing Director of HEINEKEN Cambodia, Dat’s priority is to accelerate growth by continuing to delight Cambodian consumers with HEINEKEN’s international premium brand portfolio. He is committed to strengthening collaboration with customers and business partners, while contributing positively to Cambodia’s long-term development goals. With a passion for developing Asian talent, Dat aims to inspire the next generation of Cambodian leaders at HEINEKEN Cambodia and beyond—reinforcing HEINEKEN’s commitment to nurturing Asian leadership within its global organization.
