The Kingdom’s largest trading partners were China, the US and Vietnam.
According a November 10 report from the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE), from January to October 2025, Cambodia’s total international trade was $52.58 billion, up 16.5% from the $45.14 billion recorded during the same period in 2024.

Trade volume for the first ten months of the represented 96% of Cambodia’s total trade in 2024, which was $54.74 billion, according to the GDCE.
Lim Heng, vice-president of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, told The Post that the gradual recovery of global economic growth, along with the increasing production and processing capacity of Cambodian factories and enterprises, has contributed to the continuous rise in trade. He noted that the volume is expected to keep growing in the near future.
He explained that the growth in Cambodia’s exports is mainly due to two key factors: The expansion of domestic production capacity, driven by the increase in factories, enterprises and agricultural productivity; and Cambodia’s access to major export markets, supported by preferential tariff schemes granted by various countries, as well as its participation in multiple bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements (FTAs) with nations around the world.
“I firmly believe Cambodia’s export earnings will continue to rise this year, as the country now produces a wide range of exportable goods, and Cambodian products are becoming increasingly competitive in terms of reputation, quality and price,” he said.
According to Heng, in addition to textile and garment products, Cambodia is now also a notable exporter of agricultural products, electronic components, electrical equipment and various consumer goods.
