Each year, LOLC Cambodia consistently organises numerous social initiatives, including financial literacy training sessions for communities, community events and various other social activities. Notably, in 2023 and 2024, LOLC achieved remarkable results in delivering financial literacy training across communities, with the following outcomes:
In 2023: LOLC Cambodia conducted a total of 241 training sessions, reaching 4,428 participants, including 3,490 women, in various communities nationwide.
In 2024: LOLC Cambodia conducted a total of 318 training sessions, reaching 6,264 participants, including 4,625 women, in various communities nationwide.
The increasing figures above demonstrate LOLC Cambodia’s dedication to fostering customers’ understanding of financial management, year after year. This includes guiding them on effective cash management, saving practices and the purposeful use of loans.
It is important to highlight that, as of September 30, 2025, LOLC Microfinance Institution’s Sustainability Management team had delivered a total of 265 financial literacy training sessions to customers and villagers within its branch operational areas. These sessions have reached 4,822 participants, including 3,707 women.
The training programmes covered a range of essential topics, such as personal financial management, income and expense management, savings, cash flow management and loan management. The objective is to enhance the financial understanding of LOLC Cambodia customers and other villagers, promoting inclusive financial services in alignment with the strategies of the National Bank of Cambodia.
As part of its unwavering commitment, LOLC Cambodia remains steadfast in this mission, continuing to provide such training to customers and villagers in diverse regions, especially in remote rural areas. This ensures they gain fundamental financial knowledge, enabling them to make effective financial decisions and avoid falling into situations of excessive debt.
