Minister of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation Cham Prasidh encouraged Thai companies to join the science expo that will be held in Cambodia next month.
Prasidh made the appeal while meeting with Thai ambassador Cherdkiat Atthakor on February 23.
Prasidh told Atthakor that the National Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation will take place on March 26. It is the first expo to be hosted by his ministry and it will be held at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre for three days.
“[Prasidh] requested through the Thai ambassador that as many Thai companies as possible attend the expo,” the ministry said in a social media post.
Ambassador Atthakor spoke highly of the good relations between the two kingdoms. He said that as ambassador he will do his utmost to improve the relationship even further through cooperation with various institutions.
Atthakor also supported the call for Thai companies to attend the expo and said that from what he understands there are many Thai companies that are already planning to attend the event.
