New irrigation systems have been completed – and older ones upgraded – to ensure an adequate water supply for increased rice production and other crops three times a year in three provinces. Cambodia is home to 99 species of snake, including 16 which are venomous, according to the Terrestrial Research and Conservation Group, which studies reptiles in Cambodia.
