In an October 9 raid in Phnom Penh, the Anti-Drug Department arrested two Chinese nationals and seized more than two kilogrammes of narcotics in Phnom Penh.
Yesterday, October 13, 90 other individuals were detained in drug-related cases. More than 13 kilogrammes of narcotics were seized.
The Phnom Penh raid took place near a nightclub in Tonle Basak Commune, in the capital’s Chamkarmon District.
Two Chinese nationals, Zou Xiaobo, 51, and He Tiantian, 36 were arrested. Officers confiscated 1,994 grammes of ketamine and 437.71 grammes of MDMA.

The suspects have been sent to Phnom Penh Municipal Court for legal proceedings.
The October 13 busts saw 90 people arrested, three of them women, according to the National Police. Over 13 kilogrammes of drugs and chemical substances were seized, in 34 separate cases.
The police explained that the total included 8 cases of trafficking, 18 cases of transportation and possession and 8 cases of drug use.
