In a step towards enhancing customer service, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications has introduced a new complaints feature to its “MPTC Speed Test” app.
This function allows customers to report any issues they may be facing with service quality and receive resolutions from the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC).
The ministry announced the new feature to the app – first launched in 2022 – on July 20, with the intention of safeguarding consumer rights and interests. By promoting access to high-quality telecoms services and increasing transparency in data and information provision, it aims to empower customers to monitor their usage status.
“The MPTC Speed Test app not only measures mobile services and internet access levels, but now also includes a new complaints feature. This allows customers to report any service quality issues they encounter and receive solutions from the TRC,” read the ministry’s notice.
Users can lodge their complaints directly through the app, available for download on both the App Store and Play Store. The ministry encourages the public to download this app, contributing towards the improvement of telecoms services.
For any difficulties encountered while submitting complaints, it said customers can call the free helpline 6789, which is available during regular working hours.
