Cambodia has officially launched its third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0) to address climate change, after submitting it to the UNFCCC Secretariat on August 8. The ceremony, presided over by Minister of Environment Eang Sophalleth, with the participation of relevant institutions and key partners, took place on September 18. More than 26 tonnes of spoiled frozen meat was confiscated by the Animal Movement Crime Suppression Task Force in recent days. The Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) has condemned the use of violence by Thai security forces against Cambodian civilians, declaring it a “serious violation of human rights”.
